Some men would want to slow things down by now. The founder's body is broken, and so is his mind, carrying horrific memories of war and loss. His mental health cost him his family. He was fighting the silent war that many civilians never see, until they read about a veteran who took his own life.
After years of sadness and isolation, something reached him: the pipes and drums, and "Flower of Scotland" being sung in stadiums across the USA. In one small corner of that broken mind, he knew he had a choice. Live unhappy and isolated, or follow the beat of the drum.
He knew that if he did nothing, he would likely become a statistic. When Boston welcomed the Tartan Army to the World Cup, this Scottish war veteran started dreaming again, about the American life he had always wanted.
So he built weeBIG.us. With no investors and no team, just a disabled veteran working from his pension, he launched it in October 2026. Realtors list homes for free. There are no fees, no premier agents, and leads are never sold: buyers go straight to the listing realtor. Every realtor's first video reel is free.
weeBIG.us is starting with not one listing. The founder can't afford the MLS listing feeds the big property sites pay for, though he'd never say no if they offered to share their listings. He isn't a threat to anyone's business. He's simply hoping realtors will come and build it with him, because he knows weeBIG.us can only ever be as successful as the realtors on it.
He started with Boston, because Boston started him.
